Bombos is a rich, strong cocktail with a lingering finish – and just like its namesake this restaurant and bar didn’t disappoint in its atmosphere, cocktails and food!


The bar offers a selection of cocktails all served in quirky glasses and they will even make you an off menu frozen margarita if you ask nicely!


Their kitchen is an ever-changing pop up, constantly working with the seasons to create different styles – I had the pleasure of trying their Asian inspired menu including the Tempura vegetables, Char Sui buns and chicken and vegetable Gyoza.


The staff are welcoming and friendly and they know their stuff when it comes to their drinks. The waitress in the restaurant was knowledgeable when asked too many questions and was the perfect amount of attentive!


Not only are they a bar and restaurant but they also offer private hire of one or all of the floors for parties. With this in mind they kindly sent me over their offerings for Christmas.


The venue consists of a main bar on the ground floor with tables which can be booked for large groups, a small area in the basement, as well as their upstairs room which can be set for 28 people. They are offering a Bombos twist on a classic Christmas Parties menu.

To book the table for a meal a deposit of £5.00 per head to book and full payment four weeks before the event. 

To guarantee a space at the tables on the ground floor and basement a deposit of £50.00 is needed to secure a section.

They are also happy to cater for any dietary requirements or other needs.
